Backpacker traveling for 2 weeks with a group on the Kokoda trail in Papua New Guinea.  He took Travelan and was well without illness.  Two others on the trip had diarrhoea.

A mother and her 8yr old daughter from Sydney spent 5-6 weeks backpacking through India.  Both took Travelan and stayed well until the last week when they came down with acute diarrhea.  They continued taking Travelan and were better within 24 hours.  The Landlord at their accommodation said, "all the tourists who came through caught this bug but he had never seen anyone get over it in less than 5 days".

"I am writing to thank you for supplying Travelan to the Victorian Country hockey teams that traveled to Singapore last year.  There were 30 young men and women, most of them having their first trip overseas. Here they played teams from India, Malaysia, Japan and other countries in the Central Asian region. They also got to visit Little India and the markets where they tried the local food.  After taking the Travelan all survived this trip, except a few who had not taken the product - as when you are sixteen of course you are invincible! 4 Australian travellers on a 2-3 month tour - no gastrointestinal problems for the majority of the trip, although 1 person had one day of vomiting and diarrhoea in Peru.  2 had tamales from street vendor in Mexico – both OK. However, non-Travelan companion had diarrhoea and vomiting from tamales.

16 doctors took Travelan -15 didn't get sick and 1 had a mild case of diarrhoea for one day.

Family of 3 took Travelan during a two-week bus tour of India.  After a few days, diarrhoea and vomiting began spreading rapidly through the rest of the tourists on bus but Travelan protected father and mother. Daughter, aged 22, had decided to stop taking Travelan and 2 days later, also had diarrhoea and suffered dehydration and required hospitalisation.

Outbreak of infectious diarrhoea in an aged care facility spread quickly amongst elderly patients. Nursing staff were protected successfully from getting diarrhoea by taking Travelan.

Western Australian and Victorian cricket teams on training camps in Bangalore, India. No reported gastrointestinal problems.
